Overall an absolutely wonderful experience. The setting and facilities were fabulous. Staff attentive and friendly. Rooms spectacular. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. Dinners were excellent. Location right on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Amazing experience.

Airport transfers are also included, which is a wonderful service. From the outside, all you see is the logo and a beautiful door, which makes you think: Nice door, nice logo—a bit James Bond-esque, but is that all there is? The door opens, you step over the threshold, and you're immediately transported to a completely different world. The staff is very friendly, and the Chief Operations Manager and the other staff really go above and beyond to ensure you have the best possible stay. The location is truly beautiful and has everything you need for a wonderful stay. Friendships are forged throughout the stay, and I'm guaranteed to return to this beautiful secret escape!

Kasa - Malindi je jedinečná luxusní destinace na severním pobřeží Kene ve městě Malindi a na pobřeží Indického oceánu. The property is located on the beach. Rooms are very spacious and each lot of 5 rooms shares a fantastic swimming pool, a dinning room areas and a sitting area. Its absolutely beautiful ! Personnel is very helpful and extremely nice. The food was excellent to say the least. Juices of natural fruits from the region, great coffee, cereals, eggs, etc. The restaurant is open all day which is very convenient. Room service is served in the dinning table right outside the room. The table is perfectly set and the personal is ready for whatever you need. The Spa is very nice and the person in charge gives fabulous massages. All in all this hotel is a great place to stay when in Malindi for either pleasure or business.

The hotel is cozy and very stylish, the food is incredibly delicious. The place looks much nicer in real life than in the photos. Compared to Nomad , it's much better and worth the money.

I appreciate that even during the low season and with just a few guests in the hotel, everything worked perfectly, and all the staff was present. Excellent food for both breakfast and dinner with many options. Nice clean room, friendly welcome,... Everything was great.

Everything was beyond expectation. Food , Music, Swimming Pool , Staff , Water Park. Exceptional Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. Lot's of variety with Indian foods specially for vegetarians. Non Veg also has plenty options.

Situated directly on the white sandy beach of Shanzu, Serena Beach Hotel & Spa offers panoramic views over the Indian Ocean. Guests can dine beside the outdoor pool in the extensive tropical gardens. It was a lovely location. The food was awesome. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Staff was friendly. Will definitely want to revisit this property.

From the moment of arrival, everything was done to make my stay feel safe, warm, and genuinely welcoming — which makes a real difference, especially when traveling alone. A very special mention goes to the waiters. Their kindness, constant smiles, attentiveness, and genuine care stood out throughout the stay. They didn’t just serve meals — they created comfort, ease, and a true feeling of being at home. Those small daily interactions made a big impact in my experience of the country. The security team was also excellent and reassuring at all times (including a late-night moment when they kindly helped with an unexpected insect in the room). The driver and all other staff members contributed with professionalism and kindness, creating a truly pleasant and safe environment. The team also showed great honesty and integrity by contacting me afterward to explain that a payment initially thought to be declined by the bank had actually been processed 4 times.
