The interior design is stunning, with a perfect blend of charm and comfort. My room was a highlight, featuring a unique open-ceiling bathroom that allowed natural light to filter through—such a beautiful touch. Everything in the room was thoughtfully arranged for both comfort and style.
The location is unbeatable: close to the heart of Queenstown but still peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect base for exploring the area. What truly stood out, though, was the incredible hospitality. Every single staff member welcomed me with genuine smiles and made me feel truly cared for.

The locaction of eichardts at the waterfront promenade was beautiful and got us close to all the local bars and tours. We were served a liesurly but excellent free breakfast in the eichardts bar. Great and helpful hotel staff. Queenstown on the wharf is so beautiful, dont go to the uphill accomodations

I wasn’t impressed at all. It was not at all a 5 star property.
I loved the room it was very elegant and was like stepping inside of a 5 start resort the heat pump.was already turned on so the room was nice and warm. The hotel is in a great location just a short walk from all the bars, restaurants and activities. I felt safe and secure at all times it was also the amount of parking spaces they had was amazing. The staff were so friendly and we even managed to get a room upgrade.
5 star facilities and great food
You can tell the owner has put in lots of effort and creativity to make the house look nice and comfortable! The bathroom smells like five star hotel with everything prepared for us. Bedroom is super comfy, the best thing is the view looking out to the lake! Breakfast was awesome as Peggy pampered us with food and drinks all prepared by herself.
Overall the hotel was very average certainly not what we were expecting (having stayed previously in 3 other Sofitel hotels). Decor was very dated and not tasteful at all. Restaurant and bar closed!! 5 stars NO! Crazy ……..
Staff is 5 stars. Cool to have breakfast. Comfortable beds
Staff, Location, service everything was awesome. the only opportunity for improvement I would recommend as a five star hotel to have more chef prepared items for breakfast instead of heating up the canned/pre packed items and for that if required just increase some. $$
