The hotel had just been open a few months after a complete renovation/remodel and everything was new and in excellent condition. We were upgraded to a bigger room which was really nice. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the doorman. The location was excellent for walk about in the tourist areas of Porto.

As an Arab and Muslim traveler, I particularly appreciated the addition of a water bidet, which made the stay even more comfortable and convenient. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Porto, just a short walk from many key attractions and historical landmarks, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful, always ready to assist with any needs. With its great facilities, superb location, and excellent service, Wine & Books Porto Hotel is truly a top choice for anyone visiting the city. Highly recommend!

We didn’t use these facilities but they are there if you want them. There is a nice lounge/ bar area beside the reception desk. The breakfast buffet is plentiful, excellent variety and quality and everything delicious. In addition to the buffet there is a menu of different egg dishes, pancakes and waffles made to order. The breakfast is served in the Bistro, which is the hotel’s restaurant in the evening and is a series of 3 adjoining rooms, 1 with the buffet and the other 2 with seating. It was a very pleasant area to enjoy a superb breakfast. Our room was very nice and had a beautiful large walkout patio, which unfortunately we didn’t use due to the inclement rainy weather.
