Would definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in Bern. The location is very convenient, the rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable (especially the beds) but the highlight was how friendly and helpful the staff were. A big thank you to the female worker who checked us in. I wish I got her name (she grew up in Bern, also worked in Grindelwald previously) she was so friendly, gave us heaps of recommendations, and we felt so welcomed by her. Would definitely stay here again!

She provided invaluable support throughout my stay. She helped me with the check-in process, ensuring it was as smooth as possible given the circumstances. She also offered practical assistance, such as finding a room that suited my needs and so on. She frequently checked in on us, offering comforting words and making sure we were okay. Her genuine care and concern helped to alleviate our worries and made us feel at ease. Her exceptional service, personal attention, and kind words turned a potentially difficult situation into a pleasant and memorable experience. Everything was really cozy and clean. Very well equipped room with many handy appliances and cutlery. Staff was really friendly too (we could easily borrow the socket adapter)! Very nice bonus is the public transport card that the hotel gives access to via an app (bus ride to the center of Bern was just 12 mins). Also, you won’t regret an evening walk through Muri itself. Supermarket is there just around the corner too.

Just a 5-minute walk from Bern Main Station, Best Western Plus Hotel Bern is situated in the centre of the Swiss capital, between the French Church and the Zytglogge Tower.

Fantastic place. Very comfortable room, all in place. The location is excellent for the train travellers, only three minutes to the rail station. Shops and food court is right the next door. And many thanks to the hotel staff, everybody was very friendly and helpful. It was a perfect stay.

Service at the hotel was great and the especially staff at the restaurant was well trained. Also the gym was great. Had a nice variety of machines and was maintained well.
