Reception staff exceptional. The hotel and room spotlessly clean. The lounge area has such a calming relaxed atmosphere. The ambient music oozed class. Whoever chooses it should get a pay rise. Bed and bedding first class, like new. I use other hotel chains when not slumming it on the Camino but when back in England I'll certainly be looking at Mercure. Well done everyone.

Our room was very comfortable, as were the beds. We ask for walk-in shower and got an amazing bathroom. Real 5 star quality. Hotel was very quiet, but not very full at the time of our visit. Underground parking was safe and secure if a little tight on the turns. No drink making facilities in the room but free service of hot drinks and pastries on the ground floor

A very authentic hotel. Newly renovated, clean, modern, comfotable beds, silent, excellent location to rest, there are taverns nearby. The receptionists are very nice and helpful. Even though I made a mistake of the check- in date, the lady did not hesitate to change the date. I wish I stayed more…
