The location was beautiful, a bit of a walk but the views were stunning and it was close to a supermarket. The room was large and we had complementary fruit and champagne on arrival. We had breakfast and dinner each night, dinner was 4 courses and a different menu each time! We were some of the last guests to stay before end of season so it was very quiet but the staff still made a great effort to help us have a nice stay. They were all very helpful.

Lovely hotel. Very chilled and relaxing vibe. In an enclosed area surrounded by clifs, which gave privacy and a very calm atmosphere. The pool was very nice and clean. The breakfast terraza had a very nice view to a lagoon with water coming directly from the sea. The rooms were very clean and with a nice balcony. In general, the hotel was better than it looked in the pictures. Would happily come back.

La Vecchia Fonte is located in the very vibrant centre city of Palau. This hotel overlooking the harbour is a 5-minute walk from the main beaches.

It’s beautifully cared for with stunning views. Although a little outside Cannigione, the hotel has several options for those without a car. The beach is a leisurely walk, or golf cart away with a welcome bar! Absolutely every one of the staff were excellent,it felt very much like a family run hotel with no sense of stress. Although we arrived late, Guiseppe was happy to host us with delicious Sardinian wine after our long journey. The breakfasts are fantastic, I highly recommend using their restaurant. Thank you for the surprise Prosecco and fruit in our room, absolutely delicious. Lecie and Barbra also stood out as beyond helpful and happy; but to be honest, everyone was great at making this a must memorable visit, I’m excited to return!

We really enjoyed the day spa at the Tenuta Pilastru. We realized that today was the opening of the 2025 season! It was simply great! The location is wonderful, a strategic position to move easily everywhere …. We will come back in few months!

Room and facilities Clean, spacious, nice view Lovely stay we really enjoyed. Hosts were super nice Laura and the bartender (we didn’t ask the name sorry) always happy to help super attentive ! GREAT BREAKFAST. Sadly we haven’t used the pool as much. You do need to have a car if you want to visit around HOWEVER it’s a central good location from the north and most beautiful beaches!!!!
