Wonderful ryokan experience, with very helpful and attentive staff. The futon were some of the comfiest I've ever slept on, and the breakfast was a real feast. The Japanese garden and general atmosphere of the inn were very relaxing. Very close to views of Mt Fuji from the beach (if there aren't too many clouds).

Good location if you intend to visit Miho No Matsubara and/or take the Suruga Bay ferry from Shimizu port to Toi port on the Izu Peninsula - another great photograph opportunity for Mt. Fuji. An excellent business hotel amenities, free drinks (during the evening), and an adequate breakfast selection. The hotel is within 50 m to Shimizu train station with many options for meals. The town is famous for tuna so the sashimi pieces for dinner and breakfast was awesome. And the private outdoor hot tub was exceptional. Especially, the location is very east to access from anywhere else. I would like to visit again to stay at the room with the ocean view.

A very sincere hotel with lovely Classical Japanese hotel vibe with arcade game area (not big but fun). Dinner was very nice with decent sashimi. The onsen on top floor is great with view over the Bay Area. The bathroom was new and well maintained. Room set up is nice with a set of chairs and table with a wide window view. The lobby could be nice and I am sure they will improve it. The staff are very nice and you see they are very happy that the guests are visiting Shizuoka. Breakfast was decent.
