Before our renovation in 2021, we had 18 years of rich history of being a world-leading hostel and was recognized 7 times as China’s No.1 hostel and 3 times as Asia’s No.1 hostel. Really great attention to detail. This was one of the best dorm rooms I've ever stayed in: the interior was clean and inviting, and they did a great job with finishing touches like free toiletries, slippers and shower shoes for each dorm guest. The secure lockers were a plus. And I really enjoyed the free breakfast, snacks and tea throughout the day too. Overall the staff were also v welcoming and offered us free beers one evening after a nice chat. Xi'an is a fantastic city - make sure you check out the great mosque if you're visiting the muslim bazaar (this was my personal highlight).
