Our room was perfectly laid out and clean and perfectly appointed. Loved the windows to the street. It was warm and cozy when we wanted and nice and cool when we needed it to be. One of the best rooms I’ve ever slept in. The bed was amazing! Live the location as it wasn’t in the hustle and bustle of downtown. The train station is right outside the front door so not is easy to get anywhere you want. No parking lot but there is street side parking all over the place. If we return to Hamburg, we will be staying at Clouneys!

The 4-star studios and suites at the MADISON Hotel include a fully-equipped kitchenette, satellite TV and high-speed internet access. We had a great stay at The Madison! The room and bathroom were among the larger ones we've had in Europe, and there was nice counter space in the bathroom as well. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms and public spaces were clean. Dinner at Marley's Restaurant was so good the first night that we ate there again the second night (Thai coconut soup, Caesar salad, chicken Singapore, and creme brulee were all delicious). The parking garage was easy to find with decent sized spaces, although some were blocked off due to the concrete breaking up (arriving between 5-6 pm on a Friday, there were multiple spaces available). The location was walkable to every place we wanted to visit. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to others.

The apartment, the comfy beds, the big so well equipped kitchen (+ a huge selection of tea and a great coffee machine), the central location, close to the Altona train station, and generaly within 30-40 minutes by foot from all major attractions. But the nicest thing was our host Klaus, who was very generous, very attentive, always looking to help and very efficient. We thank him so much for that.
