Offering a terrace viewing the Lot and wellness centre, the Best Western Plus Hotel Divona Cahors is located just a short stroll away from the centre of Cahors. Gastvrijheid van uitzonderlijk niveau. Wat een onverwacht warm welkom kregen we hier op Eerste Kerstdag! We waren ervan uitgegaan dat alles dicht zou zijn, maar de staff van dit hotel deed alles om ons verblijf toch feestelijk te maken. De receptie was vriendelijk, vrolijk en behulpzaam. Speciale kerstcocktails in de bar en zelfgebakken taarten - later leerden we dat de fantastisch lekkere Christmas Cake notabene door de manager van het hotel was gebakken! Het restaurant bleef die avond toch open om ons een feestelijk viergangenmenu met begeleidende wijnen te serveren. Het verwarmde zwembad en de sauna stonden ook tot onze exclusieve beschikking. Verder loop je zo het gezellige Cahors in. De gerieflijke, schone kamer met goede bedden keek uit op de prachtige Lot met de brug, we hebben met het raam open geslapen om te genieten van het ruisen van de rivier. Dankzij dit hotel beleefden we toch een heel bijzondere Kerst! Echt een aanrader.

Great bed. Terrific view of the ski area. Near hiking. The wellness was perfect but if the hotel had been full it would have been tight. Loved the tile in the bathroom. Breakfast had everthing you would want. The main deck was very nice for an afternoon drink. Wish more places would update their hotels like this one. Thank You!

An amazing hotel isolated from civilization in the endless silence of the heart of the Pyrenees National Park on the French side, from which all rooms overlook the mighty cliffs of the Pyrenees Mountains and the amazing waterfalls. The hotel is a nature reserve in itself of stylish beauty, every detail of every picture was designed and adapted to receive a unique and luxurious look, the hotel was founded in 1845 and has been passed down for 7 generations among the family members and is praised with each generation. We were privileged to be the guests of one of the eight wonderful rooms in the hotel. Arriving at the hotel from the village of Gavarnie-Gèdre tells the whole story of how wonderful the hotel and its staff are. Over everything, as in a harmonious concert, triumphs a wonderful, kind, funny and special woman named Carolyn who gives the hotel its warm and special atmosphere and pays attention to every detail with a constant smile and kind eyes, a woman of many actions who turns out to be a skilled off-road driver and a wonderful bartender and especially a kind conversationalist. The dinner at the hotel is as perfect as the hotel. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared with delicacy and beauty that do not hint at the explosion of flavors that came later, a masterpiece and served to the table by Eric, a warm, funny and special man. The world must have been divided between those who were in this magical hotel and do not forget it and those who will come to it. Thank you for the wonderful fairy-tale hospitality and personal attention.

Le Loft de l'hôtel Dieu bevindt zich in Villefranche-de-Rouergue, op 24 km van Najac Castle en 47 km van grot Pech Merle, en biedt gratis WiFi en airconditioning. We had the most pleasant stay at Le Loft de L’Hôtel Dieu, and it’s impossible to rate this gem anything less than a perfect 10/10! This stunning apartment is a masterful blend of modern luxury and historic charm. The spacious layout provided ample room to relax and unwind. The beds were nothing short of exceptional—plush, supportive, and the kind you never want to leave. The kitchen was a highlight, thoughtfully designed and fully equipped with sharp knives, an abundance of pots, pans, dishware and appliances. The fine design aesthetic, with its meticulous attention to detail, perfectly complemented the building’s historic roots, creating an atmosphere that felt both elegant and inviting. The lovely wooden furniture, crafted from salvaged wood pieces, added a unique touch to the space’s charm. 
 It was easy to find parking spaces very close to the building, both marked (blue lines) and unmarked. A blue parking disc (ensuring two hours’ free parking in blue-lined spaces) is provided by the host. (We had our own, so we did not use it).
 Communication with Jonathan was excellent.
 I can’t recommend Le Loft de L’Hôtel Dieu highly enough for an unforgettable stay!
