First, the baths. Relaxing in a hot bath under the open sky, surrounded by stunning nature and a sense of complete seclusion, was truly a unique experience. We were incredibly lucky to be the only guests in the entire hotel during our stay, so we had both outdoor baths entirely to ourselves. Both breakfast and dinner were exceptional. Each meal was an assortment of different Japanese dishes that would be difficult to discover and try on your own. Everything was prepared and presented to the highest standard, and the kaiseki-style serving made it feel even more special. And finally, staying in such a grand traditional Japanese room was unforgettable. It felt as if we were living in one of the palaces we had been visiting throughout Japan.

There was a screen above the bed where you could control the lighting, temperature and even set an alarm to wake you up (you could also set the light to turn on when the alarm rings. My kids rate it TOP1 from all hotels we visited in Japan (including Universal studio, Disneyland and 10 other). Everything was awesome, room was big, lobby is full of lego and lift is…. This i wont say cos it would be a spoiler. Stuff was amazing and there was many many things more that will be a great surprise for Your kids.

Open from March 2015, Dormy Inn Premium Nagoya Sakae is just a 4-minute walk from Sakae and Fushimi subway stations. All guests can enjoy the natural hot spring bath on site. The breakfast buffet had a great selection of local food! And the free onsen, free ramen, free drinks, and free popsicles were delightful surpises that will keep us coming back. The rooms, despite being on the smaller side (which is normal in Japan), were clean and comfortable with complete amenities (including pajamas). Location was great! It's near the subway station which is just one stop away from.Nagoya Station. And it is within walking distance of a shopping area (Sakae) where you can find the department stores and other shops.

The Meitetsu Grand Hotel offers bright rooms with free WiFi, 3 restaurants and a sky lounge café with panoramic city views. Location just above Meitetsu bus centre and underground access to major shopping and train stations. Room was generally spacious and comfortable bed.
