This place is very close to the bus station and JR Takayama which is convenient (about 10 steps walk). The room is large and has alot of spaces for storage. The room facility and amenities are good quality. They provide kitchen tools for cooking, and there is washing machine that you could clean your clothes. The staffs are really nice and they speak English well.

All services — at a top notch. Great choice for a few days relax from Tokyo hype.

It is super near Takayama station and nohi bus station. It has alot of restaurants near the hotel. 10mins away from morning market and takayama old town. Very convenient location. Room is very big and spacious, it is very clean and bed is very comfortable.

Ryokan Asunaro: A Traditional Japanese Inn in Takayama. Nestled just a 6-minute walk from Takayama Station and the Nohi Bus Center, Ryokan Asunaro offers an authentic Japanese inn experience. From you enter the reception you are met with a beautiful traditional Japanese interier, it is very well done. Everyone there were very polite and respectful, from staff to other guests. We three women arrived around 16, were able to select a cute yukata each we wore as much as possible for our one night stay, and were shown our room which were as big as a small apartment. We choose to go directly to the onsen which had just opened for the afternoon and had the place for ourselves. Very well stocked with brushes, hairties, lotions, everything free to use! the rooms were nice and comfortable, there was a beautiful tea set for us to use so we had a tea party in our yukatas, before dinner. We had paid for the dinner which was serving after serving of small dishes and a particularly tasty hida beef with miso dish. The beds and shower were great, nothing to complain about there, we had the traditional breakfast the day after with a self serve bar of drinks such as tea, coffee, juice and milk. Oh and we also went down to the onsen before breakfast and were once again alone to relax and take our time. It was probably the most expensive stay we have included on our trip but it was also by far the best experience we have had, and can recommend anyone to try it even just for a night like us, if not more ☺️

Just a 2-minute walk from Takayama Station, Oyado Koto No Yume offers Japanese-style rooms with a colourful touch. This was an amazing place to stay. It was beautiful, very clean and in a great location just a short walk from the historic centre of Takayama. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind, and made us feel so at home. I can’t recommend it enough!

The interior is very nice. They offer complementary dango and drinks. They have parking on site made everything convenient. The room was comfortable and clean. I love that they had Onsen and allow people with tattoo to use it. Although it was a bit crowded.
