Hotel Solana Bacalar Lakefront is een accommodatie met 4 sterren tegenover het strand in Bacalar met heeft een tuin, een privéstrand en een terras. It was so close to the water, you could go for a swim any time in shallow, clear water. There is only 10 rooms, so it’s never crowded. The staff were amazing - so friendly, helpful and kind. Jess the manager was so attentive and spoke great English, and the receptionists were very helpful. The restaurant food is absolutely delicious, the chef is very talented.

We highly recommend having a car, as it makes exploring the surrounding area much easier. Overall, this is a fantastic place to stay, and we would recommend it to anyone. We’d love to come back ourselves! It’s the perfect choice for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Tulum and truly enjoy a relaxing vacation.

Everything was absolutely amazing! It’s a shame that we only planned two nights at playa — will come back for a longer stay! The house is a special piece of art. Each room is designed ingeniously and each piece of furniture is a special art piece. The rooms are very clean, equipped with all facilities you’ll need. The place is in a good locations close to many good restaurants and bars, and yet surprisingly quiet. Apart from the hotel, Fabri, the host, is a gem himself. He not only take care of our stay, but takes care of EVERYTHING. From airport pick up (at two different terminals even), recommendation for car rentals, for restaurants, for day trip recommendations, the lift to the ferry… with his knowledge he helped us arrange literally everything (he always gives a large range of options for everything and so at no time do we feel like he forces our hands for his benefits, all of his advices are 100% sincerr) Because of Fabri, we had a brain-dead vacation and a fantastic holiday.
