Il nome Avenarius è molto famoso in questa piccola parte d'Olanda. L'hotel è infatti associato alle parole ospitalità, cucina e qualità. The staff was very kind and friendly. Breakfast had many varieties compared to the other Dutch hotels. The parking space was quite big and free. It was just situated in the city centre and everything was within walking distance. I will come back for the next trip. The stay was far better than the other chain hotels in the Netherlands.

This monumental building from the 17th-century combines a historic building with modern features, fine dining and a city centre location. It features a scenic heated terrace and offers free Wi-Fi. The hotel is located in the city, yet I could enjoy the tranquility and the breakfast was fulfilling. I love that they also gave free coffee & tea so I could drink it in my room. I arrived a little late that night, but they were still kind enough to open the door for me :) The hotel is within walking distance of the train station. If I had to choose a hotel in Zutphen, I would definitely choose the Hampshire Hotel - 's Gravenhof Zutphen again.
