I highly recommend the Omina Hotel! It’s a great little boutique hotel in the old quarter of Hanoi, convenient to lots of sight seeing and delicious food. The room was very nice and super clean. Breakfast was better than most hotels I’ve stayed at. The BEST part was the staff! Ruby helped us navigate old town, gave us recommendations for things to see in Hanoi, and helped us check on our transport to Halong bay when they didn’t show up. We will stay here again and will book all excursions and additional travel in Vietnam through Omina!

The area is popular for cycling, and car hire is available at this 4-star hotel. This is a small but very nicely appointed boutique hotel in the old quarter of Hanoi. The room and facilities were excellent; with clean linens, nice bath/shower and excellent climate control. The shining attribute of this hotel, though, is its staff - they manager, Mr. Leo Nguyen, was happy to provide arrangements for taxi from the airport to the hotel, and to interface with our planned activities to anticipate and deflect any problems. All of the staff, in fact, were very gracious and friendly.
