Glamping Sites in Bukit Lawang

Josef is an amazing host, sharing his knowledge about jungle conservation, palm tree impact, local and touristes co-living. The Landak River is at the back of the garden so you can chill and swim there. The house is a bit far from Bukit Lawang but Josef came to pick me up / drop me off at the bus station by scooter. You can also eat all your meals there (special mention for the most beautiful fruit plate at 25k only). I did one day trek with Josef and learn so many things, it was a real adventure as we wandered out of tracks, even more than another 4 day trek I did in Bukit Lawang.

We stayed 3 days in Orchid Bugalows and it was the best thing we could have done. The place is beautiful, the room spacious and clean and the food fresh and tasty. The jungle guides are knowledgeable, very responsible and friendly people. Sarimen, Mulia and the team are making a great job. We learned a lot from them and had much fun at night at the jungle with Mulia's jungle games :)All the team always made sure we are ok! They treated us like family and we are more than grateful.
