Peaceful Retreat in Chiang Mai Our stay at this newly built villa surrounded by jungle and farming land was wonderful. Everything was spotless and new, and the views were absolutely stunning. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, greeting us warmly upon arrival—even with our last-minute, late-night booking—and preparing a delicious meal for us. They even waved us off when we left, which made the experience feel extra special. We needed to check out extra early, and the hosts thoughtfully accommodated this by preparing breakfast for us, which we enjoyed while watching the sunrise. It was a magical moment that truly made our stay unforgettable. Whilst the villa is secure, as with anywhere in Thailand, there can occasionally be unwanted insects. We had bug spray with us, so it wasn’t an issue, but we’re sure that if we had mentioned it to the hosts, they would have had some on hand and handled it right away. The serene surroundings and peaceful atmosphere made this an incredible escape. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and enjoy Thailand’s natural beauty!

Such a beautiful place with stunning views of the mountains. We stayed in one of the bubble rooms and the bathtub was amazing. The staff were so accomodating and regularly checked in to see if we needed anything. The shower was also really good (one of the best we had in Thailand). It’s a great location for exploring Chiang Dao. They offer a dinner service as well which is fairly priced and tasted great. No need to stress if you arrive late in the day and are hungry.

My host was a nice Thai lady, sometimes we cooked together and shared food, they had free ice, the room was comfy, surrounded by forests and fields, very local place. I met a lot of friends, a lot of fun:D and they drived me to the airport!

This is an exceptional place. Fully immersed in nature and hearing forest sounds is just so relaxing. We booked for 2 nights but I would say that 3 nights is minimum - especially if you want to look around in the area as there are some very beautiful waterfalls and elephant sanctuaries near by. The breakfast was very good, balanced and healthy. You can eat lunch and dinner here as well which is all super tasty and not expensive at all. Camp 6 and 7 seem to be most private (we stayed at 7).
