All Meals were delicious. Location is good. They have a watering hole near the pool and dining area where you can see animals drinking. On our first day, 5 giraffes, 2 elephants, impalas drank water. In just 2 safari drives, we saw the big 5. Our park ranger did his best to locate the animals.

An enchanting place in the middle of nature. Tranquility, absolute privacy, breathtaking landscapes, starry skies. The swimming pool for exclusive use, the barbecue available to guests, the tent equipped for cooking, the professionalism of the manager, Fanie, available to provide information... Note: The last stretch of road, about 13 kilometers, is unpaved. We traveled it with a low rental car. We had no problems but of course you have to go very slowly. During the journey we saw giraffes, impalas, zebras... Spectacular!!! At the entrance to the reserve they sell wood and ice at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!!!

The property is lush, with animals everywhere, including some visiting us at breakfast and in our tent. We stayed in a magnificent tent facing a river with hippos constantly appearing to greet us. The hospitality of the Phelwana team could not have been better. Rating 11 out of 10! Although I am always lucky enough to receive good service, at Phelwana Game Lodge I received the best treatment of my life in all my travels. Service like no other! Honorable mention to Jo-Ann and Sly, people of unparalleled kindness. They helped make our trip to Hoedspruit a true dream. The food here is amazing. It can't be explained in words.
