It's calm and quiet, the window on the roof is perfect for looking at the stars at night and waking up in the morning with warm sun, super refreshing. The room is much bigger then it seems from outside. The host is super welcoming and friendly.

Situata in una zona tranquilla nell'11° distretto di Budapest, a 5 minuti a piedi dalle fermate dei tram e degli autobus, la Shantee House offre dormitori, il WiFi gratuito e un... I really enjoyed my stay! It’s a bit outside the city center, but it’s very comfortable, clean, and has a nice common area. To be honest, it didn’t even feel like staying in a hostel, it felt more like a “home” vibe.

Milkos was there to greet us for our late check-in and also helped us with our 2:00 a.m. checkout. The houseboat itself is brand new and fully equipped with everything you could need—comfortable beds and mattresses, a TV, a kitchen, a dining area, and, to top it all off, an incredible rooftop jacuzzi. The breakfast at the bistro above was excellent—not your typical all-inclusive hotel buffet, but thoughtfully prepared dishes with a great variety. Overall, it was an amazing stay and far more memorable than any hotel experience.

The tents and facilities are great for this price, we were grateful for the mosquito nets! I recommend to have dinner at least once with Mihaela and to do a guided cayaking tour - best way to explore the Delta!
