Built off the ground on a wooden platform, these tents feature mosquito screens, a wooden veranda with outdoor furniture, and an open-air bathroom with hot shower. The staff, the facilities, and the serenity of the place were all truly special. Memorable and unique, we felt cared for and wished we could stay longer. Kangaroos, great coffee, and the forest at hand with the beaches a short bike ride away. Inclusive of bikes and canoes and breakfast make it a solid value if a bit of a splurge!

This tent's special feature is the pool with a view. The tent provides a washing machine, a private entrance, as well as a shared bathroom featuring a shower and a hairdryer. A magical farm stay experience (with a slightly bumpy start) We arrived at The Woods Farm around 6:30 pm, and to be honest, it was a little unsettling at first — the entire property was pitch dark, and we couldn’t find a single staff member around. After calling via WhatsApp, we found out that we needed to locate our cottage ourselves, which was quite tricky in the dark and a bit worrying. But as it turns out, this is just how things work here. Our mood shifted completely once we found our cottage — and wow, it was stunning. Beautifully built with high-quality materials, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything we needed: 3 comfy bedrooms, a lovely living room, and a full kitchen. The next morning, we understood why this place gets so much praise. We were greeted by wild kangaroos hopping across the massive backyard, and the kids were absolutely thrilled. Then came the real highlight — feeding time at the farm! We got to meet and feed alpacas, goats, sheep, cows, pigs, ponies, and even wild parrots who pecked sunflower seeds straight from our hands. Our 3- and 8-year-olds were in absolute heaven — it was truly something special. There’s also a huge playground right next to the pool, which was perfect for the kids to burn off more energy. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience. Our kids are still talking about it long after we’ve moved on to our next destination. If we weren’t already committed to a tight travel plan, we definitely would have stayed longer. Highly recommend for families looking for a unique and unforgettable farm stay!

It’s a nice little gateway. However some guests can be noisy at night and it’s just how it is. Noises travel fast in a setup like this and hopefully more people realize that

This tent is located at Worrowing Estate, 81 The Wool Road, Worrowing Heights. This tent is tucked away in a gully and offers amazing views of the surrounding bush and wildlife. We had a lovely stay, love waking up to a mob of kangaroos just chilling outside. The whole estate is very well kept, and it's only minutes drive to the beach and shops. We will definitely be back!
