The host even provided us with an electric heater as she felt it might get too cold at night. The kitchenette offered more than we expected. The close by Alboral café & bistro was a great plus with nice views and outstanding food.

Just wished we had more time to use all the facility offered. The pool was lovely there was bbq facility and the breakfast was satisfying

AMAZING experience, coming here, is like experiencing the real Costa Rica. The staff was amazing, Johnny made sure we had the best time! The food was very good as well, we were 2 vegans and we always had plenty to eat. The location is far, yes, but that's what this place is all about. We saw all types of animals, and it gave us the most peaceful experience to be surrounded by so much nature.

Guests can make meals in the fully equipped kitchen that features kitchenware, a microwave and a tea and coffee maker. The accommodation was quaint and extremely comfortable. The shower had a little heater attached so even though we were a little more remote we were able to enjoy a comfortable shower. We could hear the sounds of the rainforest at night, which I particularly enjoyed. The family who run this place were some of the kindest people and even though we don't speak Spanish, and they didn't speak English, we were able to communicate and actually enjoyed a long conversation. There were a few dogs on the premisis that were super friendly and definitely enjoyed the ample attention we paid them. The value for this place was incredible and it was my favorite accommodation my partner and I stayed in. We wish we would have stayed for more than one night.

We had three generations traveling together, so we filled all three tents. The setting was gorgeous and it offered a truly unique experience. It rained quite a bit, but that’s to be expected in a rainforest. If you’re prepared for it, it’s awesome. Glamping probably isn’t for everyone, but we loved it. The area offers loads of nature related things to do and we found pretty good restaurants nearby. We had little kids with us and could do the atv tour, but wish we would have figured out a way to do it in shifts.

This cloud forest accommodation is absolutely amazing. Well off the beaten tourist path. The last section of road is rocky so you’ll need to take it slow. The great thing is, breakfast and dinner are included as the location is fairly remote. There are a few sodas down the road to get a meal at though. We thoroughly enjoyed being immersed in our cloud forest experience, and never saw any other visitors. This is a hidden gem for those that want to enjoy the cloud forest. Your stay also includes a complimentary guided walk!

Bitzu Dome-Bijagua Riverside Glamping se může pochlubit výhledem na řeku a nabízí ubytování s vybavením pro grilování a balkonem. Sopka Miravalles se nachází přibližně 37 km odtud. The Bitzu dome is one of the most unique places I’ve ever stayed. The dome itself is spacious and comfortable with all of the necessities right there. The host Alex is a very nice guy and very responsive and helpful. He worked with me through some traveling troubles due to a tropical storm and helped me out a lot. I can’t thank him enough for his hospitality. I highly recommend the Bitzu dome and Bijagua in general if you want to be somewhere a little less touristy and truly get to appreciate the Costa Rican Culture.
