Our host were more than accommodating for all of our needs. Their kindness and assistance will not be forgotten. Even though the rain/fog spoiled our view, it didn’t change the quaintness of the property and beauty of the domes. Would recommend if in the area!

It was very cosy and a nice retreat. You wake up in a park with hummingbirds in front of your door and a great view of the volcano. Then you can hike the Park trails (ca.3h) and experience a hidden jungle, waterfall with a lot of fauna. Also there is a cool viewpoint where you can get a photo of the volcano and the jungle.

Rooms are 5 square metres. Ekologický hotel Essence Arenal je obklopen tropickým lesem a nabízí wellness centrum pro turisty. Everything. Literally everything. It's one of those places where you can't go wrong. The rooms are a perfect combination of modern facilities and nature. There's a daily yoga session (paid) with a view to the Arenal volcano and nothing but green and nature around. The place has 2 or 3 trails, connecting the reception to the rooms' area that allow you to see several types of animals (from monkeys to tocanos). There's not much "light pollution" around which is perfect to watch a starry night sky.

The pool with a view is a top feature of this tent. The tent features air conditioning, a private entrance, a terrace with garden views as well as a private bathroom boasting a bath. Location was perfect, accommodation was top class. I was met on arrival by Gabby and she was amazing, the following morning we had an amazing breakfast. Highly recommend to anyone travelling in this area.
