Beautiful grounds and swimming pool, amazingly clean and welcoming. Several nice beaches nearby. All guests were quiet and considerate, within their accommodations and in public spaces, allowing everyone to enjoy the serenity of the lodge and natural sounds of birds, geckos, howler monkeys, cows, and waves crashing nearby. This said, if you don't care for "the all of nature" including an occasional gecko, lizard, or small insect in/around your accommodations, this may not be the place for you. :) The managers are wonderful to speak with and provided excellent recommendations - understandably proud of this beautiful eco lodge.

Well air conditioned, good view, host was accessible when needing to communicate, clean interior, quiet at night, clear instructions upon arrival.

The hot tub is a top feature of this tent. The tent's kitchen, which has a refrigerator and a tea and coffee maker, is available for cooking and storing food. We loved this lodge. The moment we arrived to Samara, Denis reached out and explained how to get there. Waze works best in Costa Rica. Also if you rent the car, make sure to rent a higher one because some roads are pretty bumpy and you would need to push it. But it’s normal there. Once we arrived, they met us by the entry with warm hello, showed us our place, greeted and let us be. Breakfast was delicious and very thoughtful, based on our needs. Denis was so helpful. He answered all our questions, always within minutes replies to my messages. He also recommended bunch of places. Our lodge was clean and replenished daily. The view is great, private. Overall amazing stay! Highly recommend. Lovely owners! Thank you guys!!!!!!

I loved staying at Cocolhu. Waking up to the sound of birds and howler monkeys was an amazing experience. The views from the deck and viewing terrace were incredible! The Wi-Fi was solid and the property was just far enough from town that you felt removed from the hustle and bustle but close enough to access all the amenities if you wanted to. Javi and Kelly were amazing hosts and you can tell that they want to make sure you have the best experience while visiting.

Sehr nette Atmosphäre, sehr nette Inhaber, die viele Tipps und Infos haben, sehr sauber und zuvorkommend! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden noch einmal kommen. Dafür, dass die Küche von Gästen und Angestellten benutzt wird war etwas wenig Platz, aber an Utensilien fehlt einem nichts und man kam sich trotzdem nur selten in die Quere :) allgemein sehr zufrieden und weiterzuempfehlen! (Ohne Auto ist die Lage schwierig, für lauffreudige aber auch machbar)

Featuring a private entrance, this air-conditioned mobile home is comprised of a kitchenette, 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. The rooms are really large with a kitchen that has all the necessities if you'd like to self cater. The breakfast across the road at the Naked Foods was delicious and large. Included coffee, fruit, rice and beans, salad, plantain, avo or egg. Was super filling for a day on the beach. The staff assisted me with laundry at a small additional cost which was super helpful. The Shampoo and Conditioner in the bathroom is the best I've ever used! Wish i had gotten the name of the product!
