The main reason we chose the place wasfor the wild animals, remote place away from the city and tranquility. This is not a luxury suite but a very rustic one. The hosts were very nice and willing to accomodate every request, helping with tours recommendations and any other request.

Amazing location to get away, private beach, and close to Carcavado NP. Meals were very good, and the staff guides, and bartender were friendly and knowledgeable. Hope to visit again.

This place has stolen our hearts. We couldn’t be more thankful and happy with our stay here, best in our 3,5 weeks in Costa Rica! The nicest owners who put their heart, soul and much effort in this lovely ecolodge with lots of attention for the wildlife welfare. Our tent by the beach was lovely. (It’s one of the nicest beaches we saw and we were there all alone!) Sunrises and sunsets there were amazing. We saw all four monkeys species each day, macaws flew over our heads and we saw lots of other wildlife too: truly unique being so close to nature and wildlife. This is not just a nice place to stay, it’s a whole experience beyond compare. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!! Thank you for having us, we will be cherishing our stay there forever and will be back.

This tent offers hydro-electric service and a terrace overlooking either the rainforest or the Pacific Ocean. The bathroom is private and comes with hot-water shower and free toiletries. Very warm and inviting. Staff knowledgeable and helpful. Good guides and a long list of activities for purchase. Probably best food in Carate and ranks among the best prepared "lodge" meals I've had anywhere.
