This clamping camping experience, surpassed my expectations and my family would love to do it again. The restaurant food was great (much better than most restaurants in Bali), as we ordered lunch and dinner. Also, the breakfast buffet included with the room was good. The beds were super comfortable and all the hotel staff were excellent.

We lost a credit card in an Atm and the staff went to the place on their own (which was not close) and managed to find it….we were so thankful! Definetely a special place to stay if u want to visit Penida out of the crowds. The tents are beautidlful and very confortable!

From the moment we arrived, we were taken care of so well by the hotel staff, who were extremely friendly and always happy to help with anything we needed. Mornings were a treat—starting the day with a delicious breakfast overlooking the pool, surrounded by trees and beautiful scenery, was pure bliss. Evenings were just as magical, with a cozy bonfire where you could roast marshmallows and watch lanterns glowing in the trees. It felt like stepping into a fairytale. The rooms were equally impressive—super comfortable beds, a large smart TV, and an overall cozy, homelike feel that made it the perfect retreat. The bathroom and dining table were outdoors, but beautifully designed for comfort and privacy. I especially appreciated the mosquito incense provided in the evenings, which made the indoor–outdoor living setup with its own private garden both practical and enchanting. Stepping out of our garden into the hotel’s stunning grounds felt like entering a peaceful oasis. I also loved the yoga classes held twice a week in their gorgeous yoga chalet, led by a fantastic instructor—such a wonderful way to start the day. I will definitely be coming back here and would recommend this hotel to absolutely anyone looking for a truly relaxing, beautiful, and memorable getaway.

Situated in Munduk, Desa Eko features accommodation with seating area. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Rooms are equipped with a balcony with views of the mountain. We stayed in the studio and it was absolutely phenomenal. The most beautiful views, every dish from the restaurant was a 10/10, staff were extremely accomodating. The whole experience was amazing and would have loved to have stayed longer. Will definitely visit Desa Eko again.
