Though at first the price seems high, when you think of what you would get from a travellodge or similar, then paying for extras link breakfast and drinks, there wasn't much difference for our family of four. The location is spectacular and you feel very much in the wild. We stayed for a night to break up a visit with family and as a Christmas treat and what a treat it was. The yurt is toasty warm thanks to the wood pellet stove, though the outdoor toilet in -7 degrees was a bit chilly! There were heated blankets in the beds though we ended up not needing them. The children loved the outdoor space, the fairy doors, whimsical tree house and mud kitchen. What made it so special for us was the view of the night sky, I don't think I have ever seen so many stars and to fall asleep looking at that through the skylight was so special. The hosts have supplied so many home comforts inside the yurt too, hot chocolate and teas and coffee, a box of board games, books and home made ornaments to compliment the space. The microwave and outdoor fire pit BBQ allowed us to cook a lovely meal and then breakfast was superb, continental style with eggs probably from the chickens in the coop nearby! Would I go back? ABSOLUTELY!

Henry è stato gentilissimo, ci ha accolto al check in e ci ha indicato dove mangiare a 5 minuti di strada. Inoltre, la colazione è stata ottima, ricca e molto accurata (Henry è stato disponibile a cambiare all'ultimo nostra necessità di colazione!). Il posto è pulito e dispone di lounge/TV/cane per due coccole.

Martin è stato di una gentilezza estrema, aiutandoci in tutto anche in problemi che non avevano niente a che fare con lui.

There is very beautiful nature and a quiet place, and Patric was so friendly. He gave us useful tips for hiking and also for good restaurants in neighbourhood. Finally, you can see wildlife animals like sika deer, birds etc.

Was meeting up with Family and was an excellent place for them to visit me. Very comfortable stay. Very peaceful. The hosts daughter checked me in and what a lovely welcoming friendly girl she is. 😁
