Featuring a private beach area, the 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The restaurant serves Asian and European cuisine. We can only warmly recommend the hotel from start to finish. It starts with the nice staff, whether front office manager, housekeeping or the waiters in the restaurant, everyone is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was freshly prepared and very tasty. The additional dishes besides the selection at the buffet were also very good and fresh. We loved the idea of using the tents as rooms. Of course, you should be prepared to encounter a gecko, frog or snail in the bathroom, after all, you are also booking a nature experience here! The cocktails are also very good, happy hour from 4-6 can only be recommended. The white beach was always clean and well maintained, as was the entire resort! If I were to come to Koh Rong again, I would check in here again!

The accommodation features room service, luggage storage space and currency exchange for guests. Sunboo is magical…a little piece of heaven. Cori and Paulo are so warm and welcoming and so passionate about their piece of paradise. Beautiful souls with great energy. The beach is stunning with the most amazing sunsets.Don’t forget the Cambodian beers. The food was delicious - we looooved the pizzas.

Popular points of interest near the lodge include Lazy Beach, Saracen Bay Beach and Sunset Beach. Our teepees were in beautiful shade but fronted the amazing beach. The beach was superb and kept really clean unlike elsewhere in Cambodia we had been. It was so peaceful. None of the few restaurants/bars chose to play any music at all which was a nice change from other places. The swimming, beach walking, sunset were stunning. We also hired a paddle board which was fun. The simple menu was tasty. We were there on one of the pizza nights and they were fired in a wood oven and delicious. The staff made calls and helped us with our ongoing journey which we appreciated.

The communal bathroom includes cold shower facilities, while electricity is available at the charging station in the restaurant. This is a well maintained and well staffed resort. The food was great. Perfect beach front location and view of the water. A great place to tuck yourself away and enjoy the peace. It is a hike across the island with about 10 minutes of steep terrain. I left most of my luggage as advised by the resort for $1 per day on the Saracen Bay side.

Staying in a straw cabana felt like my camping trips when I was a kid growing up on an island. The family was so friendly and made everyone feel at home. A two night stay turned into three weeks and I didn’t want to leave.
