Il Kamaku rimane nell'angolo più suggestivo di tutta Sunset Beach (già di per sé, la spiaggia più bella di tutta l'isola). Julia e Oscar, assieme a Maria, sono persone molto accoglienti e alla mano, disponibili per qualsiasi cosa e lo staff locale che lavora per loro è composto da ragazzi giovani e molto solari. Essendo su una piccola isola ancora abbastanza intatta, sono molto attenti all'utilizzo della plastica. Viene data la possibilità di rifornirsi di acqua senza sovrapprezzo o di avere acqua fresca in bottiglia di vetro. La zona comune che fa anche da ristorante ha un grande patio con libri, giochi di ruolo, un campo da bocce e una palestrina per tenersi in forma. Io ho alloggiato nel dormitorio che si trova su un enorme terrazzo. Addormentarsi col suono delle onde e risvegliarsi alla luce dell'alba è impagabile. Tuttavia ci sono anche dei bungalows affacciati sul mare. I bagni sono poco distanti e vengono puliti ogni mattina. Non c'è acqua calda ma non è assolutamente un problema All'arrivo si viene accolti da un cocktail di benvenuto che ripaga la camminata da Saracen Bay. La loro cucina si lega alle proprie radici, troverete Paella, Tortilla, Tinto de Verano e Crema Catalana. Nei dintorni avrete tante altre opzioni per passare il tempo sull'isola (Kayak, Paddle, bagno notturno col Plancton...) Non posso che raccomandare Kamaku a tutti i viaggiatori che vogliono godere dell'atmosfera rilassata di Sunset Beach! Nota bene: In quasi tutta la spiaggia non c'è connessione WiFi e non ci sono atm, quasi tutti i posti non hanno acqua calda ed è normale trovare insetti in giro. Gestire un'attività su un'isola ha dei costi e delle modalità ben diverse dalla terraferma, tenetene conto quando decidete di venire a KRS

Situato sull'Isola di Koh Rong, nella provincia di Preah Sihanouk. Il Tamu Koh Rong dista 6 km dal porto di Sok San. La struttura è la più elegante dell’isola. Una posizione ottima, a due passi dal traghetto. Il personale è gentilissimo e il ristorante ottimo.

Bungalow molto bello e pulito, dal patio si vede la spiaggia, personale gentile e disponibile, ristorante direttamente sulla spiaggia con piatti tipici. La posizione è ottima per chi vuole riposare, lontano dai vari locali notturni ma si possono raggiungere tutte le spiagge noleggiando un tuk tuk

This tent features a sea view and barbecue Sleeping Trees si trova a Koh Rong Sanloem e propone WiFi gratuito, giardino, zona spiaggia privata e terrazza. Abbiamo alloggiato presso Sleeping Trees tre notti: è stato come vivere in paradiso. Lo staff è gentilissimo, rilassato e sempre pronto ad aiutarti con un sorriso. Il cibo è ottimo: consigliata specialmente la grigliata di pesce. Ottimi anche i servizi, sebbene rustici sono ben progettati e realizzati. Addormentarsi e risvegliarsi direttamente in riva al mare con il rumore delle onde sulla spiaggia è un'emozione incomparabile. Sulla stessa spiaggia si trova anche un agenzia (Sunset Adventures) che offre tour del plancton bioluminescent e altre attività a ottimi prezzi. Altrimenti la vita allo Sleeping Trees è più che sufficiente per programmare una vacanza a Koh Rong Samloem. Grazie di tutto! Merci!

This non-smoking tent is fitted with windows that open up to panoramic views of the sea. The tent is equipped with solar-powered lighting, a queen-size bed and furniture. The bungalow I had was right in front of the beach and had its own little balcony where I could read in the evening after a swim to see the bioluminescent plankton (it was not like the pictures on internet but more like little fireflies appearing underwater when moving, truly amazing). The accomodation is quite simple but has everything needed and is very comfortable. Shower water is cold but given the temperature it's not an issue. There are even some plastic curtains in front of the balcony that can bu used in case of heavy rain. There's a restaurant that can easily accomodate for vegans (I recommend the banana flower soup). I took the taxi boat to get there since I had a suitcase and it went well, you can book the boat back with the help of the bungalow staff. One day I decided to do the little hike to get across the island (it has one steep part but the it's mostly flat-ish, so easy to do with a backpack if you're in good health condition) to see the beach on Saracen bay side. If you want more bars, restaurants and people, you could pick that side. But if you want some quiet time, a beautiful beach and nice accomodation, Robinson bungalows on Sunset Beach are perfect :)

This tent has a shared bathroom, a wardrobe and sea views. The unit has 1 bed. I had a wonderful stay at Koh Ta Kiev Island Resort! The restaurant is in an open area with fresh air and a nice breeze, which made every meal so relaxing. Breakfast was really good, and I appreciated the flexibility—even as Muslims, we could enjoy seafood options too. The beach was absolutely beautiful, especially at night with the fresh air and peaceful atmosphere. The staff were amazing—special thanks to Lucky at reception, who was very helpful and assisted us with everything we needed. The driver was also very kind and always smiling, which made our transfers so pleasant
