The property was really amazing, clean and authentic. The slept in the big tent in the middle of the garden of the guest family, which is full of vegetation (papaya, pineapple, coffee, banana, coconut trees). The family was just incredible, really helpful. They prepare the breakfast and dinner for us with lot of products of their garden. Everything was delicious and we discover local food. We rent bicycles to go temple, it was the best idea. The location is really good ! We went to visit Mihintale with the father and his daughter and we learn lot of things about the culture. He’s always have good story to tell. You definitely have to go there !!

The tent includes a shared bathroom fitted with a shower. The tent has garden views. The unit has 2 futons. Sam is a perfect host, who really cares. He made us feel welcome, helped with renting bicycles and even did a very nice bicycle tour with us. The location is perfect if you want to see the sacred city (15 minutes walk away) and feel like being in nature. It is also a very good starting point to do a bicycle tour to Mihintale (which was a great experience!) From the nice rooftop terrace you can see the sunset over the stupas. The staff were friendly and helped us organisted our meals around our very early safari plans. The room was lovely and the food was brilliant. im so ashamed that i have forgot his name to mention.
