The location is so beautifully isolated and you have a real sense of being in nature … the stars at night were incredible. The team at Wild Hut were fantastic: understated unobtrusive exceptionally attentive.. Isuru was a wonder : full of knowledge about the environment and taught us the importance of “ knowing what you’re looking for “ when spotting wild life in the park. We felt safe and looked out forat all times whilst also feeling free to explore this incredible place for ourselves. Sunset on the rock playing cards drinking tea and listening to the wildlife will be a cherished memory forever . Thankyiu Yala Wild Hut and especially Isuru the lucky for a truly magical stay J🙏🏽 the food was great especially the lunchtime curry and the bbq too , and communication pre and during stay was excellent, and very helpful with arranging transport .

We stayed in a beautiful little house, everything was new, clean, and smelled fresh – truly exceptional for Sri Lanka. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Through the accommodation, we booked a full-day safari in the national park. We had a great jeep just for me, my wife, and our son. The driver was very accommodating, and we saw so much – including leopards (twice!), elephants, buffalos, crocodiles, birds, and more. It was absolutely amazing. After the safari, we enjoyed a barbecue at the resort, which was another unforgettable experience. Thank you – we definitely recommend this place!

The place is magical — you’re surrounded by pure nature, yet everything is so thoughtfully designed and comfortable. The service was truly outstanding, with every detail taken care of. A special mention to Bandara, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. His care made the experience even more special. If you want to feel immersed in the jungle without giving up comfort and excellent service, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

EVERYTHING - there was so much love in every detail and the staff was extraordinary. I have rarely experienced such an outstanding service. The safari organized for us was also super good!

From the delicious food to the well-maintained campsite and the knowledgeable guides, every detail was perfect. The safari itself was unforgettable, with amazing wildlife sightings and stay inside the yala national park. in the night time we show leopard around us.with the many of animals sounds actually we didn't sleep, it unusual for us.this is the same like we stayed in Serengeti National park in Kenya.same feeling i got in here. This is the ultimate way to experience Yala, national park inside night with animals and we highly recommend it!

Such a peaceful, beautiful setting and the accomodation and food was superb for a camp setting, 5 star dining under the trees and stars. Staff were delightful and so happy to assist with anything and their knowledge of the area and its flora & fauna were exceptional. Highly recommend!!

The place is better than I expected with the tents being very comfortable and extremely well equipped. The host always friendly and very helpful.

Amazing deluxe room in Green Villa. Spacious, clean and good AC. Family very friendly, relaxed, flexible. We were generously treated with mangoes and other fruits from the garden. They have over 5 species of mango (consider it a local mango tasting). Swimming pool clean and close to the lake. Kind dogs that help protect from a friendly elephant visit (who also wanted a nightly mango tasting).

The camp was stunning, with amazing outdoor meals, wonderful trails, and comfortable and well appointed tents. Beyond the site itself, everyone there was so caring, attentive, and knowledgeable. The safari was AMAZING- fun, educational, and we were lucky enough to spot a leopard and even a jungle cat. This is thanks to a keen eye and ability to know where to go, which was also away from the really busy sites so it felt much more private and enjoyable than expected.

The house you get to stay in is simply incredible, secluded and gives an absolute Safari feeling! It is very big and the bathroom is great. We've had the most amazing hosts that were incredibly attentive and supportive. For a little extra, you can book a BBQ including a bonfire under the stars, which we can highly recommend! The food and service was outstanding. Something i am so thankful for - they will contact you already before your travel and during our texts to arrange everything I mentioned that it was my best friends birthday. They were so kind and offered to have a cake ready for her with her name on it for her special day.. Thank you so much for the effort! We really appreciate that. Lastly, the Safari was amazing! We drove with Indika and he was the perfect Safari guide. He stopped for us whenever possible, tried to make sure we see the most animals and explained everything in detail to us. We can only recommend taking a tour with him! If you plan on doing a Safari in Yala and want to experience a Safari like housing - this is the place to do so! Highly recommend and we'd definitely would come back. Lastly, if you plan on doing a Safari, we suggest to do the full day one :)
