Tents are situated in the cave with direct views to the waterfall and the swimming part of the river. Linen is provided. Mona was an incredibly gracious host, and her son is absolutely adorable. She’s also a wonderful cook—every meal was delicious and made with care. The location is truly nestled in the heart of the forest—an idyllic green paradise. That said, if you’re uncomfortable around insects or wildlife, this may not be the right spot for you, and it’s best not to waste Mona’s time. For nature lovers, though, it’s a dream come true. The natural pool is simply breathtaking.

Featuring free toiletries, this tent includes a private bathroom with a shower and a bidet. The tent features a tea and coffee maker, a dining area, a wardrobe, a TV, as well as river views. Stunning location right on the river, the views from the balcony of my room were particularly amazing. The staff were extremely attentive and on hand to help with anything I needed. Traditional Sri Lankan food for dinner and breakfast in the restaurant was wonderful and extremely well priced. All round a great place to stay.
