Well functioning bathroom and shower with hot water. We also had a full day tuk-tuk tour of Ellas interesting places with Kishan - at a very reasonable price. Plenty of chipmunks are climbing just outside the platform and a giant squirrel comes by every morning around 8am. Btw. Tip-top Sri Lanka breakfast (see picture)

We ended up at Vitajs camp by chance and it turned out to be our favorite days in Sri Lanka!!! If you like nature, remote camping, hiking and a bit of adventure it is more then perfect. The camp is located on a tea farm, only accessible via foot, so it's so calm and peaceful, really a piece of heaven. You can come from haputale via tuktuk, leave big bags at the house on top of the hill and just bring what you need for the night down to the camp. CAVE: You should be comfortable with walking, no electricity and cold water, if not, it's probably not for you. If yes, you will have the greatest time, Viraj and his family are the nicest and most welcoming people we've met in Sri Lanka so far. He speaks perfect English and is super open minded and a fun guy, so you can hang out with him at the nightly campfire, chat and learn lots about Sri Lanka culture. And the food his mum cooks... just amazing, also best I've had so far, no lie. 11/10.

Cool hangout area complete with hammocks. Fairly fast wifi. Super zen vibes with the rain. All in all an amazing stay, thank you.

Also, the cooking class is highly recommended—and delicious! This has definitely been the loveliest stay in Sri Lanka so far!
