Could not recommend Thamaravila more! Everything was fantastic from the welcome to the safari and everything in between. The service was fantastic and all staff were extremely friendly. The traditional Sri Lankan food was delicious. Our safari experience was also amazing, seeing elephants, sloth bears and leopards all in one day! Thanks to Priya who was our very knowledgeable guide on the day. The rooms were very spacious and the location is so quiet and peaceful.

The service was outstanding, with high-quality amenities and attention to every detail. The food was abundant, diverse, and absolutely delicious, making every meal a real pleasure. Most activities on-site are free, which is a huge plus, and I also added the dolphin watching tour—an unforgettable, magical experience that I highly recommend! One of my best memories in Sri Lanka, and honestly, you could easily spend a whole week here without ever getting bored. I can’t wait to come back!

The individual attention and a caring team made us feel very special. Secluded, overlooking paddy fields. Delicious and authentic Sri Lankan food. Ranil and his team undertook one of the largest study of Sloth Bears so they know a thing or two when it came to the safari. We spent a day ticking off the most wonderful array of wildlife. We were here as a family and couldn’t be more happy.

The fireplace is the standout feature of this tent. The tent features a washing machine, a private entrance, as well as a private bathroom boasting a walk-in shower and a bath. Amazing little place in the middle of the countryside next to a lagoon that you can swim in! (No crocs). Very friendly and helpful owner and staff who will try to help you in every way You can see so many birds and animals from the place itself You can do a local bird walk or a half or full day safari in Wilpattu National Park The dinner is home cooked Sri Lankan style, very fresh and tasty and plenty of it! Loved every minute of my stay

This unique tent is set on the border of the National Park and comes with a private bathroom. The staff at Big Game was absolutely wonderful. Everybody was very kind and helpful. The camp gives you a real safari experience. The facilities were very nice for a tent camping. We also really enjoyed the daily activities that were scheduled, the romantic apero aside the campfire and the tasty dinner by candle light. We planned our safari with them and got a wonderful guide who taught us everything about the Wilpattu national park and its inhabitants. Would definitely recommend

Best host ever! Really nice people who just want you to have the best stay. His mum cooks delicious feed, best i had in Sri Lanka after one month. Free bikes, coffee and tea. Enjoy!

This tent features a sofa, patio and private entrance. Stylish and eco-friendly, Dolphin Beach features luxurious tents next to a private stretch on Alankuda Beach, Sri Lanka. Hotel was right on the beach. We could swim in the pool and in the sea. Lovely comfortable and spacious room. Beautifully decorated. Indoor and outdoor showers were great. Food was exceptional in fact up with the best we've ever had. Service and staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. Dolphin trip was fun and exhilarating even though we didn't see any dolphins due to bad weather.
