I stayed a whole week at Hostal Juárez and had the absolute best time! Great vibe, amazing people, unbeatable location, which is just not even a 2-minute walk to the beach La Punta. The hostel is small but therefore had a very tight community bound, everyone was super friendly with each other and we all built genuine connections. The manager Maya is amazing, she’s always there for you if you need something, super considerate and warm. If you also choose this hostel, you will definitely have a great time!

To be about a block off the main street (calle Rinconcito) and yet feel like you’re in a serene nature reserve, was quite the precious surprise. To walk in over the mangrove…you encounter the crabs and the bird song…and yes, there is a rooster. It’s fine. He made me laugh a lot! I felt very comfortable here - even in a tent! It was the most comfortable mattress I had my whole trip! I felt safe and secure and very much comfortable to have my needs met. I really did love the intentionality of the place. The kitchen is great and the compost toilet is easy and clean. Wifi is stable. Can’t wait to go back! Gracias Corazón Mazunte por mantener ese lugar tan precioso!

Guests will have a special experience as the tent provides a fireplace. The tent includes a private bathroom equipped with a shower. We stayed in this amazing cabaña located in the middle of the forest for three nights and we were literally in paradise. This cozy cabaña surpassed our expectations. The fireplace was a delightful touch and the host was kind enough to leave firewood for us every day. The host is very attentive and responsive. This is a green haven!!! We will definitely come back!
