This is a beautiful property that has been in the family for generations. The entire property was beautifully maintained and our room was modern and spotless. The bed was so comfy and the bedding and pillows were great. Olav was the perfect host.

The tent provides air conditioning, a private entrance, as well as a private bathroom featuring a bath or a shower and a hairdryer. My friend and I came here for a nature experience in comfortable surrounds and the experience was spectacular. It was also only made possible through a very solicitous host who picked us up with his own boat when the boat we took dropped us at the wrong island. We were warmly greeted by his entire family who, in turn, did us another favour, and were taken very close to the cabin by car; at the schoolhouse a table had been set for us to eat at. We had to walk up the hill for less than ten minutes, which was fine for us, but would be impossible for someone with a heavy suitcase, so we would recommend coming here with only a backpack. The little box was both cosy and roomy and we enjoyed just sitting, reading and taking in the view. Everything about the place was luxurious - the design, the bed, the scenic WC, the seats outside from which to enjoy the view, the precise position of the cabin - but some food would have been greatly appreciated, if even at an added charge. It seems obvious and we went prepared with groceries, but because of the day of the week the only store open on Florø had a limited range and we subsisted mainly on supermarket bread during our trip. Bear in mind that weather is, of course, variable, and if you're booking far in advance you don't know whether you'll end up with heavy rain; potential guests should be okay with that. Even with rain, Reksta was the highlight of our trip.

The view was absolutely stunning, and the location was perfect. So peaceful and quiet – just what we needed to relax and unwind. All in all, a fantastic vacation. Highly recommended!

Located within walking distance of the shores of Lusterfjord, Dalsøren Camping og hytter offers pet-friendly accommodation in Luster. Sogndal is 43 km from the property. Free WiFi is available. The room was right on the fjord. It was basic with no running water but cute, quiet, and clean. There are shared showers and toilets, much like a North American campground. There was a small kitchen in the cabin, and there is a communal one with more facilities- including a microwave, which seems rare in Norway campgrounds. There was an amazing sauna with glass walls and a view of the fjord. It looks like a mirrored box, but you can see our from the inaide. You need to book it, but it was a lot of fun getting hot and then jumping into the freezing cold fjord water. The pizza sold at the front desk/cafe was also very tasty. There is no real wifi to speak of, so it you want to be connected bring you own data.

The kitchen had everything including hot water, dish washing liquid and a tea towel. The beds were very comfortable. The shared facilities opposite the cabins were modern and clean. The kitchen had a seating area. Being able to book online ahead of arrival was excellent.
