Te Tiro really lived up to its name with an incredible view looking out over the valley with views all the way to Mt Ngauruhoe (aka Mt Doom) in the distance. The cottage was quaint and charming with everything we needed for our family of 4. The deck was also nice to sit out on play cards with our kids in the evening, while the private glow wore grotto made was a really cool bonus. Angus and Rachel were also really great hosts, so nice and welcoming and very helpful with recommendations for things to do.

Kohapeal on tasuta eraparkla.... This was our best accommodation of our entire 2 weeks in NZ! So amazing! The fireplace, roasting marshmallows, having a bath with a view… it was so relaxing. Had a steak dinner on the BBQ the last night, and a storm rolled through! With the fire going and a glass of red wine, it was the perfect experience. Woke up to blue skies. Kids had their own sleeping area separate from ours, also very nice. The hosts have horses which were a wonderful surprise for the kids. Baxter the dog is a beauty too! The stars at night were very impressive. Can’t say enough positive things about our stay.

Boasting a private entrance, this mobile home includes 1 living room, 1 separate bedroom and 3 bathrooms with a shower and a hairdryer. Everything - every facility you could want was there. The fridge was packed with bead, jam, yoghurt, cereal, milk and fruit. The room was warm and comfortable. Our hosts Paul and Katalina are super friendly and happy to advise and inform you of what the North of the North Island has to offer.
