Sorry for the late comment. It was a wonderful experience to stay at Karikari. And thank you Katalina for your dessert, it did warm me up during my solo journey. She patiently told me about restaurant, liquor shop, gas station and dairy nearby. I didn't take pictures cus I was immersed too much in enjoying myself in the house. Katalina provided me everything such as towels, milk, fruits, yogurt. I traveled by myself because of my mental illness last month and she cured me I would say. I will go to see you again, definitely, and please let me see Paul next time. I've got gifts for you. Sorry my English sucks, but love you, and I love this place.

The accommodation was unique, peaceful, and beautifully set in nature. Waking up to the stunning sunrise and falling asleep under the stars made the experience truly special. A perfect getaway, we would absolutely stay again.

Extremely magical creative space surrounded by beautiful land . There is an outside bath which you heat by making a fire to sit in a hot steaming bath under the stars was divine . The bed was so comfortable the kitchen is equipped with everything you need . The outside toilet has the best view everything is absolutely perfect 👌

Great place, clean and very quiet with good kitchen, comfortable beds, big lounge good for a big family and kids. A playground for children was a bonus. We had a amazing stay!! A very pretty accommodation, The bed was sooo comfortable, the view was incredible, the hosts were lovely and gave us games, heaters and extra blankets. And the cows in the next paddock?? What a beautiful morning!!!!

This spacious, insulated tent offers views over Orongo Bay. It has outdoor seating and access to shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. All bedding is included. (Stayed in May, not Feb) Stunning spot! Loved all the birdlife - it was so relaxing sitting on the porch in the sunshine with the birds all around. Super special experience seeing a wild kiwi for the first time. The manager there was the best, and I had so much fun exploring the place with her looking for kiwi! (If you're reading this, I went for a wander to say bye to you but didn't spot you. Thank you for an awesome stay! <3 ) The cabin itself was really comfy, great wee kitchenette too, but the deck overlooking the wetlands was the highlight. I've found a new favourite holiday spot, will be back soon!

Boasting a private entrance, this air-conditioned mobile home features 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom with a hairdryer. The view over the valley was lovely, the tiny away is tiny, but it is your own space and it has a lovely little outdoor area. The host was lovely, he greeted us at arrival and suggested AH Reid walk which I highly support the recommendation. If you like being out of town a little and not in your standard accommodation this place is perfect. Also the place was spotlessly clean and quiet, we slept so well.
