Very peaceful and quiet accommodation in the middle of the valley. We had amazing views from our room. Very close to Milford Sound, so it’s a great option ir your doing a cruise the next morning!

This tent's special feature is the fireplace. The tent provides air conditioning, a tea and coffee maker, a balcony with garden views as well as a private bathroom featuring a shower. If I could give this place 100 stars out of 10, I would. I feel so lucky that my friend and I snagged a night here - it was hands down the nicest place we stayed in New Zealand. The dome is massive - plenty of space for two people to spread out. The bed is new and comfortable - there is a separate 'closet' space and luggage rack for each person including robe and slippers. Dome includes a full blown coffee station with espresso machine and luxury teas. And the breakfast is delicious - hash browns, poached eggs, sprouts(!!), fresh squeezed OJ, and they give you your own carafe of coffee. The lake is a 5 min walk and with a full moon, it was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen (note: this moonlight also pours into your dome through transparent ceiling). The beach nearby has few people and there is a sauna (we skipped this and swam at the beach anyways). Will at front desk came out to meet us and help us with directions/bags to our dome, and the owners were there offering us appetizers. Digby the pupper was also part of the wonderful welcome committee - it was the best arrival experience I've had in years. Richard (Rick?) the owner also recommended what we should do the next day (Siberian Experience), and it was also one of the best things we did on our trip. If there is availability here, do not hesitate to book it. Lovely spot and very special humans. Will even brought me a brownie when I was working late and on calls. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was so clean. Amazing place to meet people and the hosts were fantastic. I would highly recommend it and we plan to come back one day.

They have everything we need, the area was spacious, clean and beautiful. The hot tub was perfect, and there's plenty of privacy. All the equipment are in top shape. There's even free eggs because they have chickens.

We had friends visiting from Vancouver and we were all blown away by this unique setup and location. Great communication from owner. Yurt would be beautiful for a romantic getaway. It has one very large at least king size bed the other bed for us was a pull out couch which was very comfortable. Have a great kitchenette, all facilities, just need to bring milk for tea and coffee which is provided. Fridge ,bbq etc. Nice modern shower and toilet. This is outside the yurt, but well lit with sensor solar lights. So 4 adults have a very comfortable stay. The view and location are just fabulous you can walk down the the beach in around 5mins (there are a few stairs to do this) and when you get there its just stunning. We walked to the local pub for dinner and they did a pretty decent basic dinner. We really enjoyed this stay would highly recommend and will be back. Thanks
