Hôtel du Clocher offers comfortable rooms with a view over the mountain. The rooms were great. Amazing views. Breakfast was delicious. The host and her dog were a delight!

The house has been in the family for 3 generations! The breakfast was very tasty and the highlight was being served a variety of jams made from their own garden. The beds were super comfortable, the room was quiet and spotlessly clean. The location was perfect for us on our way home to the UK, not far from the motorway but in a quiet setting. The town is a short drive away and there are a couple of restaurants by the river.

The structures are ancient but the amenities, including nice firm bed with fluffy duvet, modern and very comfortable. Fun to watch the property's pair of donkeys grazing as we sipped Beaujolais wine on the terrace. Easy drive to medieval villages in Ain, including nearby Pérouges, and Beaujolais wine route. Lovely nearby restaurants (in Joyeux and Versailleux) serving local specialties for dinner, just a few minutes' drive away. Whether you’re sipping coffee in the morning or watching the sunset in the evening, the garden is a peaceful haven for relaxation and quiet moments.
