The hotel is extremely well run, only 10min walk from Borobudur temple complex. the food was high end, delicious and abundant. Vegetarian and vegan options exist and the staff is well trained in navigating this.

This charming resort sits atop Tanjungan Village’s hills in Central Java, 1 km from Borobudur Temple. One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in (and I’ve stayed in many!). The room was superb, the location incredible, and the view of the temple in the middle of the jungle was mesmerizing. All the staff were very polite, and the manager was both attentive and friendly.

Location is great, though I'd stay at the heart of old town next time, for similarly priced accommodations that are newer or with better condition.
