The communication with the hosts was very clear both prior and during our stay. The apartment is newly renovated and has all that's needed. There's plenty of free parking available nearby and at the same time, the main sights of Locorotondo are just around the corner. We really enjoyed our stay.

The room was very nice and clean with a nice small balcony. Filipo was a very nice host and his breakfast where amazing. The breakfast was so big we had to take some stuff to go. He also explained very well everything to do and how to go around during our stay.

Apartmán byl prostorný, čistý, vybavený vším potřebným a s citem pro detail - cítili jsme se jak doma. Ocenili jsme parkovací místo za branou. Hostitelka byla neuvěřitelně příjemná, snídani nám osobně přinesla ve smluvenou hodinu, přesně podle našeho přání (nechyběly čerstvé croissanty, křupavý chléb, sýr, šunka, jogurty). V lednici nás při příjezdu čekala vychlazená voda a bylo možné si udělat kávu v kávovaru.

We (my wife and I) have been traveling to Europe for a little over a decade and this was hands down one of the most unique, welcoming, warm, and human experiences we have ever had. To begin with the property, this is an old farmhouse that this family transformed into a well designed, comfortable, and accommodating place to stay and relax. The grounds are BEAUTIFUL, wonderfully landscaped with blooming flowers, trees, and places to sit and enjoy the scenery. Everything was well designed to give the real Puglian style and there was a nice indoor area for an excellent breakfast and dinner. The rooms themselves had striking stone archway vaulted ceilings and were decorated in a way to make this place feel like a real home. The real differentiator was hands down the warmth and hospitality of the family who runs this place. Roberto, Emilio, and Giulia are the nicest, kindest, and most welcoming hosts and they truly go out of their way to make you feel like part of the family. Dinner was prepared for us the first night and the food was delicious. We spent time sharing wine and limoncello with other guests and the family, laughing, talking, and sharing stories well into the night. This is what made our stay so unique. It truly felt like we were staying in someone's home and were made to feel so welcome, I would stay there again and again. Masseria Verbena is different from other Masserias in the authenticity and down to earth experience you would most likely not get from the other, larger Masserias. When we departed we shared some hugs and the family walked us to our car and waved goodbye! Until next time!
