And the private outdoor baths attached to the main building made this a very relaxing stay. Pickup from Kanazawa made everything easy.

With a history of about 130 years, Kohan-no-Yado Morimoto offers spacious Japanese-style accommodations with views of Lake Shibayamagata. Beautiful rooms facing the lake, meals were elaborate and delicious so go in with an empty stomach or you wont be able to finish. Really enjoyed the onsen (there is a small outdoor section not to be missed). Staff were very attentive and helpful and found my son’s missing sweatshirt - when we drove back to look for it, the staff already had it wrapped in a bag at the reception. Will definitely come back!
