The house was very pretty, clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities anyone can think of including bicycles. The owner was very helpful and friendly. The house is located in a very quiet neighbourhood of Kyoto but close to the main tourist places and also close to the northern hills surrounding Kyoto. Definitely recommend!

Stayed here for 2 nights with 3 friends as a way to unwind in the middle of our 2 week trip, and it is so incredibly charming. The atmosphere in the mountains is so calming, and the onsen is extremely relaxing. Dinner and breakfast are traditional Japanese, and absolutely delicious. Help yourself to some sake with dinner, our server was kind enough to recommend us something tasty. Speaking of service, the staff were extremely kind and patient with us 4 foreign men with little to no Japanese. I never felt looked down upon. Stay here! it's beautiful and relaxing!

Kizuna Guesthouse is gelegen op 13 km van station Nara, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en een gedeelde keuken. We absolutely fell in love with the Kizuna Guesthouse! The house is beautiful, so comfortable and cozy. The surroundings are stunning and peaceful, and above all, what a wonderful welcome! Yukie and Kevin were amazing hosts. They welcomed us so warmly and gave us lots of great advice, there is so much to see and do in the area. It was more than just a guesthouse, it was a true immersion in Japanese culture, thanks to everything that Yukie and Kevin shared with us. And last but not least, the breakfast prepared by Yukie was absolutely delicious! We stayed there with our two children and would have loved to stay longer, as we felt so at home. One thing is certain: if we’re lucky enough to return to Japan one day, we’ll definitely come back to the Kizuna Guesthouse!

Ohara Sensui Surrounded by Beautiful Nature bevindt zich in Kyoto, op 7,9 km van Ruriko-in en 10 km van Shugakuin Imperial Villa, en biedt uitzicht op de bergen. It was a memorable moment to enjoy the sunset from the sofa inside the house with a glass of wine, the house has everything we needed, it was cosy and beautiful! Rieko was very friendly and responsive, she received us upon our arrival and came to say goodbye before we leave!

Daitokuji Sushicho is gelegen in Kyoto, op 2,4 km van Kinkaku-ji tempel, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een restaurant. De gastvrijheid en hartelijkheid van de eigenaren. We zijn zelfs telkens maar de start van onze dag gebracht! De eigenaren hebben in hetzelfde pand ook een (sushi) restaurant en dat is werkelijk top en aanrader om daar gebruik van fe maken. Vers voor je neus bereid en hoge kwaliteit.

Thank you so muchya Miyaco ligt in Kyoto, dicht bij naar Tempel Eikan-do Zenrin-ji en op 2,3 km van Heian-schrijn, en heeft een terras met de stad, gratis fietsen en een gedeelde lounge. Everything was incredible. Toru-san was very accommodating and friendly, and also a genius for making the machiya so beautiful and charming. The design of the machiya was absolutely brilliant, and every tiny detail had been thought of. Toru even provided us with tea and snacks, which we were very grateful for after long days exploring Kyoto. The bedrooms were very cosy and comfortable, and the bathroom and sauna were just perfect for a soak and a relax at the end of the day. I could go on forever about how excellent the machiya was, but there's only so much you can fit into a short review! "さんきゅうそうまちや! "
