Let me start with the host, the love we got before getting to the place, she called to check up on us since the roads are under construction, told to drive safe. When we got there she welcomed us with warm hugs. The rooms were VERY clean, smelling fresh, everything was a wow. The yard is clean well taken care off. Pool was clean and beautiful. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay it was even hard to say bye the way we were so comfortable.

There are nice walking trails that take you to waterholes with hides for viewing animals. I enjoyed delicious breakfasts and dinners my entire stay. The Lodge and outside areas are beautifully decorated. There are a number of local magazines, bird and animals books available for reading. I definitely recommend Muunga if you want to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Have done a lot of traveling, but this property stands out. It’s the first time I remember feeling sad leaving a place behind, normally excited to get to the next destination. Juliette greeted us at the door and gave a tour, an explanation of local sights and recommendations, then left us to it. ALL of the amenities are top-shelf, from the pillows and sheets to the decor to the kitchen pots and utensils. Each wing of the house (yes, wings!) was immaculately clean, lightly scented, and tastefully decorated. The outside fire had been pre-prepared with a pyramid of wood, the pool was spotless, and there was fresh milk and water in the fridge and 3 bags of ice in the freezer. I could go on and on. It was a standard of professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication that all other places I stay on the future will be compared to. This may sound like a paid review or a family member associated with the property skewing the rating…but we are just a family from Switzerland that were thoroughly impressed by the value and joy Wild Heart brought us.

The meals were most delicious. If you are in a hurry, tell them.. because meal times are designed for an “experience” so embrace the charm. We tried eating out in town and also had a breakfast during one of our excursions and felt cheated by not getting to dine at Safari Moon. Gourmet breakfast is included and the dinners have several choices & are more than worth adding to your stay…..the genuine gift of hospitality exudes from everyone working there almost feeling like family & treating guests like royalty .
