The kind welcome and recommendations of what to visit we got from the host. They have 2 amazing dogs, we got the chance to play with them. The bathroom is exceptional and the room was comfortable. The owner Stèphane was friendly helpful and welcoming. Told us good places to walk our dog, where the bakery was, how to find Carrefour, nearest restaurants etc The property has a lot of land and a locked gate so we were not anxious about the dog going on the road. The room was simple clean and comfortable, just what we were looking for. If in future we're making a similar drive through France we will definitely book again.

What stands out here is the facilities of the house - great terrace, big common kitchen and common spaces, it has everything one needs and more, and it is very well decorated. The bathroom on our floor was very clean. We didn't have direct contact with owners but everything went smoothly with the instructions. Arrived late for an overnight stay so didn't get a chance to look at the area, quite unfortunately

Stepping into this house is like entering a secret world. The building has been beautifully restored by its supremely talented architect owner. A total joy to be there, even on a grim day/night in January. The garden must be fantastic in the summer. Very comfortable beds and a sumptuous bathroom, and so many clever and sympathetic design details. A huge amount of care was taken to welcome me and ensure I had everything I needed. Delicious breakfast. Endlessly patient with my mangled schoolboy French. All in all, a total delight. I'll be back en famille.
