Excellent location with pretty views over the countryside...yet not far off the motorway! The room was clean, the staff were approachable and friendly and the overall " vibe" with locals in the bar and restaurant made for a lovely stay. Evening meal was well presented and very tasty...as was the hearty breakfast !

Lovely clean period property. We stayed in room 2 which was a lovely spacious room with large bathroom. Excellent breakfast & can recommend it to anyone & we will make a return visit
