Everything! Wonderful location, new build that was spotlessly clean. Our room was spacious with a lovely comfortable bed and the shower in the en-suite was excellent. I was thoroughly impressed with my stay at the Mariners Hotel in Seaton. The location is unbeatable – directly on the seafront with stunning views over Lyme Bay. It’s perfect for coastal walks or simply relaxing and watching the waves. The rooms are modern, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped. I especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, the high-quality beds, and the daily housekeeping. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and thoughtful touches like a welcome tray with tea and coffee made a difference. Breakfast exceeded expectations – freshly cooked, with a good variety, and all dietary needs were accommodated without any fuss. The evening bistro meals were of excellent quality, although it’s worth noting that dinner isn’t served every night – so plan ahead. The hosts, Lisa and Dean, were genuinely friendly and attentive. No artificial hospitality – just honest, down-to-earth care for their guests. All in all, this is a quiet, well-maintained place with a personal touch and great attention to detail. If you’re looking to avoid the typical tourist crowds but still want comfort and quality, Mariners is a top choice.
