We prefer smaller family run type hotels. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent. The hotel does not do evening meals during the week but that suits us as we stay to visit relatives and go out for meals.

In a stress-free setting beside the pretty River Wyre, Shard Riverside has great food and a traditional bar. Shard Riverside is a family-run, 4-star hotel on the Fylde Coast.
