- We stayed in the upstairs room. There are only 2 rooms. - The room was very private, with great views of the local rice fields and mountains. - The bed is very comfortable , with good blackout curtains with quiet aircon with lots of opening windows for fresh air. - The bathroom and toilet were behind glass doors inside the room. Both were exceptionally clean and tidy. - We chose to have breakfast and dinner at our room - both were generous and tasty. Nyoman is a former hotel chef. - Tea and coffee were available free on request . - The pool was very refreshing after a day out with Wayan showing us the local waterfalls and nature walks. Wayan is very knowledgeable about what Munduk has to offer and is happy to answer all our questions. We enjoyed chatting with him. - We enjoyed the location within a village along with the usual village noises during the day and dawn and dusk.

The apartments are really clean & contain everything you need and more. It was really nice to have a kitchen for a while. Drinking water was provided. The pool was really clean. Staff really helpful.

The room and the location were better than we expected. Felt like real heaven on earth with the wonderful views and surrounding ricefields. Very calm area and although a bit further away from the Munduk centre, then scooter can be arranged easily with the help of staff to get around. There are also some other local warungs around and possibilities to walk between the ricefields. At the homestay we felt really taken care of and whether we needed help with laundry, transportation or ordering food we were quickly assisted. One of the best stays during our trip in Indonesia. We recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Aura, a new villa in the area, and we highly recommend it! From the moment we arrived, Gita, Kadek, and the entire staff made us feel very welcome. Their hospitality truly enhanced our experience. The villa is ideal for a group of friends or family, featuring two comfortable bedrooms. We enjoyed the clean swimming pool, and the water temperature was perfect for relaxing. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were spacious enough for our needs. The outdoor kitchen was a nice option for preparing our own meals, but we suggest trying the dishes from their Chef, who has excellent cooking skills. Located in Lovina, the villa is within walking distance to the beach, making it convenient for a day by the ocean. There are plenty of activities nearby, such as swimming with dolphins, visiting beautiful waterfalls, and enjoying great restaurants and nightlife—all of which can be arranged by the hosts. Overall, Villa Aura is a welcoming place with attentive staff and plenty to do in the surrounding area. It was a great choice for our relaxing getaway!
