The host is very hospitable and although he speaks little english, he is good with technology and will help you out wherever he can. He prepared a welcome snack and drink when you check in. The tatami room is clean and spacious and if you are lucky, comes with a view of Mt Fuji. The bathroom is traditional and has a bath which is prepared for you every night.
